Corn-Fed Chickens

Corn-Fed Chicken

It's been some time since we've had corn-fed chickens available, and these succulent birds are now back in stock. We will have a consistent supply so you can plan your menu in advance.

We have partnered with the best producers in NSW to supply premium corn-fed chickens. With the bird's health and welfare being paramount, our producers maintain the best possible environment. They are housed in light, airy sheds with access to sunshine, natural ventilation & bedding material with plenty of room to move around. This is essential for the birds to express innate behaviours and have good muscle and fat tissue which in turn ensures high-quality tasting meat.

These birds are fed a specialised all-natural hormone-free grain diet with a minimum of 30% corn.

What does a corn rich diet do?

The high energy oil content within the corn promotes a natural growth rate and a substantially thicker layer of fat in all the right places. This provides a juicier, more succulent and tender meat with beautifully golden coloured flesh.
