Beef Scotch Fillet Marble Score 4 - Grass Fed (2 x 300g)
We all love something easy to cook, any night of the week, and that's why the Southern Rangers Scotch Fillet has such a loyal following of happy beef eaters. This pasture-raised beef that reaches a marble score of 4, has a lovely balance of deep beef flavour and a softer texture.
Inspiration: For the best results, always bring the meat to room temperature before cooking (1 hr). For medium-rare: get your pan nice and hot with a touch of oil. Sear the meat on each side for 2 min. Then turn the heat to low, add a knob of butter and garlic slices, cook for a further 3 mins on each side. Rest for 5-10 mins, season well and then serve.
On the BBQ, on high heat sear on each side for 2 min, then reduce the heat to low for a further 4 minutes of each side, then rest for 5 minutes before serving.
