Beef Porterhouse Steak Marble Score 2 - Grain Fed (2x 300g)
Deliciously tender and boasting a lovely clean, sweet flavoured beef. The subtle combination of the fine amount of fat and MB2 score marbling really makes this steak easy everyday eating. The household name of Porterhouse is also known as Sirloin or Striploin.
Inspiration: Preheat your oven to 170’C. Bring your steak to room temperature 1hr before cooking. Season your steak generously with salt and pepper. Get your large frying pan with some vegetable oil, smoking hot. Add the steak to sear for 3 mins on each side, turning only once, so the caramelisation forms a gorgeous crust. Put the whole pan in the oven and cook for a further 6-8 mins, for medium-rare. Rest your steaks on a cutting board for 10 mins, season and serve. Crusty on the outside, juicy inside, it's just heaven!
