These award winning free-range geese are packed with flavour, with rich, densely textured meat.
Goose have a higher fat content (than duck), most of which is under the skin rather than in the meat. During cooking, this fat melts and bastes the breast, keeping it juicy.
Defrost in fridge 2 days before cooking. Take the goose out of the fridge 2-4 hours before cooking to ensure it’s at room temperature.
Provenance: Sourced from our expert partners in South Gippsland, these geese are 100% free-range, raised on the Buffalo flats of South Gippsland. Here, they thrive in their natural environment, truly allowed to be geese.
