Venison, Red Wine and Pistachio Terrine 200g
This gourmet-style terrine is made with venison mince, red wine and dotted with whole pistachios. The richness of the cream that combines the meat is counterbalanced by the wine and bite of the pistachio and spices in the recipe. Wrapped up in pieces of Kaiserfleisch to seal in the moisture and flavour.
Inspiration: The Ploughman's lunch has made a come back. On a large board, lay out slices of this luscious terrine, pickles, tasty bitey cheese, chutneys, crusty bread and a mini scotch egg or two. It is generous and a wonderful Sunday lunch for friends and family.
Provenance: Made in-house by our chefs with our own family recipe. The proteins are made with our house-made smoked duck, and the Venison from South Australia.
